2 mile walk in my mizunos. The cushion does make it feel better. I wonder if I can get a way with wearing running shoes to work...hmmm. and then .9 in the merrells. those felt okay. Everything just feels super tight in the achilles heel area. I am totally lost on how to fix it and who (dr wise) to see about it.

I know now I'm getting a little made that I can't run (60's today and perfect for a run)> I saw another runner and she yelled good morning and I yelled "I wish I could be doing that" I did try to run. But the pain shoots then. That is awesomeness! The lady said, "Atleast you are doing something." Yeah yeah said the lady that is running. :( I guess depending on what time I get home from tutoring I may ride my bike. The ellip is getting BORING with a capital B. And I swear I'm not getting a work out with running or th ellip. and no Jillian b/c she loves her jumping jacks and that DOES NOT feel good. :( NOT a good start to the summer.

11 mile bike ride. 1.25 mile walk. WAshed all the cars and one dog (the husky). Sun bathed. Now i'm just gonna sit outside read, drink tea, wait for my chicken to marinate and watch the hubs fix the gutters. :)

Went to doc. Basically I walk funny. That is the short of it. The long of it is that my ankle apparently doesn't go forward enough when I walk so that makes my foot compensate by twisting outward or inward (can't remember).

Since this guy isn't on my insurance I'm going to research to see if I can find exercises (of course he wouldn't tell me the exercises) that I can do. My podiatry appointment isn't till next tuesday. Sucks!

He says that explains my callus on the inside of my big toes. so really I don't feel like I"m any more educated on what is going on than I was this morning when I woke up.

I tried to run. Just hurt. Didn't want to push it just to see what a mile would look like. Rode my bike and then walked the dogs. Trying to make the best of this situation.

Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown (about 40 min) and .8 mile walk.

pm edit 2 glorious miles. Yes it was hot 86 now, yes it hurt (foot), yes it felt good (mentally), and I"m glad I did it. The last mile was faster than the first. :)

Tommorrow would have been 3 weeks since I have ran consistantly.

A friend of mine ran 6 miles at 9pm yesterday. At that time I was tired but my foot felt looser than in the morning. So I thought I would give it a try. Worked out well :)

Went to a wedding last night. It was so pretty! they are off to Hawaii now :)

yeah running! boo hurting while I run. But the pain got less and worse as the run went on. I wanted to keep going  but held back.

50 squats, 40 push-ups 1 mile hurt so I just thought I would leave it at that. Pre run the foot felt okay.

I told myself I  would only work on organizing my teaching stuff on rainy days. Guess how many days it is going to rain? friday till tuesday. LOL

Dog walk and a bike ride from the auto place. I dropped off my truck and rode my bike home and around after that. Appointment day! foot still hurts.

Loves waiting 30 minutes to talk to a doc for 1 min only to have to wait 10 for xray to wait another 15 for an ultrasound. Only to be told I have a bone spur and tendonitis. RICE it here is some Celebrex prescription which I later found out was 75 dollars for the prescription. yeah motrin willl just have to be good enough. I get to know where a splint while sleeping and resting and NO RUNNING. Can I have a break?

45 on the elliptical 1.5 mile walk and I helped a friend move. She has five kids and I"m exhausted.

I wore my splint all last night. I have to say in the morning it didn't feel as horrid (which was usually the worst time)

I got the first grade teaching position! Crazy! So many thoughts/ideas swimming through my head. And of course my phone won't stop ringing!

 

1.57 miles today of RUNNING. yes it hurt. But I decided I don't care. I'll ice and rest and motrin. 1.5 dog walk

Again didn't sleep well. I was wide awake at 4 am. Since I'm not running that far right now I waited it out until about 5:20. Ran, walked, 2 sets of sumo squats with over head press, 2 sets of 30 second planks.

Garage sales (stuff for my classroom) and a formal 1.5+ mile walk. achilles isn't getting better. I keep icing, wearing the splint and taking motrin. Now even my other dog is limping. We are falling apart over here. LOL I really wanna run. I feel like I need to do a couch to 5K program or something.

WHAT IS THAT? DO i SEE A THREE MILER FOR MEEEEEE??? hahaha.

My achilles was feeling pretty good just puttering around the house. so instead of the 20 mile bike ride (10 to the library and 10 back) I decided I would run. foot started to hurt real bad at first but after about a mile or so it felt okay. At some parts it didn't hurt at all.

I came home and iced it and took some motrin.

This morning I was woken up with the ankle biter next door barking his head off. I went outside and attempted to throw a treat to him. but I missed and it landed in between our fences (dont worry the husky dug it out and got to it). I went back inside for another treat. That made him happy. People you can't leave your dog outside barking his head off for 20 minutes if it is before 6:30 in the morning. I hate my neighbors...they are idiots!
