2 mile walk in my mizunos. The cushion does make it feel better. I wonder if I can get a way with wearing running shoes to work...hmmm. and then .9 in the merrells. those felt okay. Everything just feels super tight in the achilles heel area. I am totally lost on how to fix it and who (dr wise) to see about it.

I know now I'm getting a little made that I can't run (60's today and perfect for a run)> I saw another runner and she yelled good morning and I yelled "I wish I could be doing that" I did try to run. But the pain shoots then. That is awesomeness! The lady said, "Atleast you are doing something." Yeah yeah said the lady that is running. :( I guess depending on what time I get home from tutoring I may ride my bike. The ellip is getting BORING with a capital B. And I swear I'm not getting a work out with running or th ellip. and no Jillian b/c she loves her jumping jacks and that DOES NOT feel good. :( NOT a good start to the summer.

pm .8 walk

When I had PF a couple years ago I bought some gel heel/arch pads at walmart for my work shoes and it helped a lot. If the cushyness of those shoes helps then keep wearing them. I've been doing all my training with extra gel pads(the full coverage kind) in my running shoes since I got this neuroma thing and I think it has also helped. I wish I would have used them in Boston.

I wish I had some good advice for you. All I can say is if you think it is the Achilles, and not PF, go over to kelli's blog from a couple of weeks ago. She's been dealing with Achilles tendonitis with some success.

I honestly can't say for sure what it is. I need to do more research on the PF. so far sounds like my the stuff for achilles doesn't jive with my symptoms. this stinks!

Ill look into some sole stuff for my work shoes!

This website was very helpful for me when I had PF a few years ago:
