I woke up at 6:30...-4 out...so I got some stuff done around the house and headed out at 8:30 when it was zero with the windchill. I really need a TM or a trainer. I just can't decide which I would use more. What am I going to do when I have no choice but to run when there is no sun? Grrrr...

I hear you, dawg. I'm breaking down and buying a gym membership as soon as we get the first significant snowfall.

When you have no choice, you'll adjust your routine and probably start to like it when there's no sun.

And while I'm thinking about it, would the 27th or 28th be a good time for us to meet up? I'm trying to figure out a good place to meet and run, but the only place I can think of is the bike trails by Brookfield Zoo. But I don't know how safe those are--it's been years since I've been on them. Got any ideas for a place to run?

Yikes! That is really cold. I might have wimped out at that point. Way to show some intestinal fortitude.

A gym membership would be cheaper than a TM, but then you have the problem of driving in the stuff that you don't want to run in in order to get to it.

Gym membership is cheaper...but is it really if I don't go? Then there is the problem of taking showers and brining my stuff to the gym. Not sure I want to go there again.

And I just put in for work to take the 28th off. Just don't make it too early in the morning b/c I need to make it up there first! I didn't run much while I lived up there b/c I dind't feel safe in general running in the dark. I'll ask my brother if he knows of some cool areas to run up there...
