Jealous? (hand going up)

If it's hurting when you slow down, that could be a running form issue. Heel striking? Don't worry about slow. Good job getting out there!

Not jealous. Our temps are similar to yours today. (Sorry, Snoqualmie.)

Shin pain has been covered in the discussion forum recently. If you look in there, you might be able to find some stretches that will help.

Sno, Yeah I heard about your blizzard conditions! You poor thing...It actually did get into the 70's today. I'm glad I did my run early. I don't think I could have handled running in the 'heat' yet. LOL

Carolyn in CO I read about the shin pain on the forum...it seems they have pain on the inner parts of their leg.. Mine tends to be on the outter parts.....maybe it is tense muscles. I almost bought the stick but ended up with the foot roller thing instead...feels good after a run...but now i'm wondering if the stick would help with the legs...maybe it isn't shin pain at all and it is outer muscle tightness...maybe I'm blabbing on about nothing! LOL

We had 70's today too! It was great. Are you wearing the right kind of shoes for your gait?

seeaprilrun,

OH dear! Yes...I was just fitted...I had another pair of shoes that they had me in and I had to return them...ever since then it has been one issue after another...I have had a few good runs in these shoes...which leads me to believe it isn't the shoe...lately I have felt like I'm running funny...

70's here today too! I am sooo excited to have some nice running weather. Its supposed to drop back into the 40s tomorrow though :(

My sister switched shoes(to ones that she was fitted for) and had all kinds of problems. Even if they are the right shoe sometimes it can take some getting used to. Eventually she adjusted. I hope it gets better for you!

JulieW

Well that makes me feel better... I hope I am in an adjustment period!
