okay frb friends...I figured out how many weeks away my marathon and the 1/2 marathon is.
I could technically start an 18 week program up in about 2 weeks on january 31
Soooo should I take a week off to rest my it band? just do some walking?
or continue like i have this week and run 4-5 days for the week with low mileage (3-4 miles per run and walk at reg intervals)
the program has me doing 3 three mile runs and an hour of cardio/cross training for the first few weeks
Personally I think for the next few weeks I should chill out keep up with 3-4 miles for 4-5 days a week. Strength train and elliptical.
btw--i got home and it was snowing...but I ran anyway. Also i thought i twas impossible for it to snow if it was colder than 30? it is 20 right now with a wind chill of 14...what is up with that? |
