Once again it is cold!!!! 32 degrees...I took the dog. I'm going online right now to buy that leash. I keep forgetting. We saw deer cross the road and walk on the railroad tracks. Very pretty. Such a graceful animal.

So I'm so glad I have my garmin--I felt like I ran horribley and the dog kept pulling on me and making me mad--turns out I got some MP miles in. Any who--I know a lot of you are racing today! Good luck-run well!

I've heard that one way to get to be a faster runner is to run with people who are faster than you. I guess the dog does that for you.

Yes he does...running with others (tried a group earlier this year) just brought back fears of inadequacy from my youth--stuff started to mysteriously start hurting and then it was like I would purposely run slower so I wouldn't end up running with anyone anyway. Atleast that is why I think I was having so many issues. Stopped group runs and I have no more problems!

Nice run/splits. You're off to a good week!

I tried running with my dogs on leash, I won't try that again! I do take them on short trail runs sometimes, where they can be off leash. It's fun to watch how whacked out they get!

I ordered the leash! I hope it helps! He gets frustrating sometimes!

I like letting him free but he is such a hunter!
