7:30 am 29 degrees 96 % humidity 2 mph winds. And SNOW!!!I love running when it is actively snowing!

I ran pretty slow b/c I felt like in some uphill parts I was running in place. Really weird.

Elliptical is sitting in the basement waiting for a part. They put the wrong size thingamajig in the box...grrr...should be about 5 days. I hope. Plus I think I need to put it in a different part of the basement b/c I don't think I have head clearance in the area that it is in now.

My parents were over for the weekend. They watched the dogs for us while we went to Indy for some Xmas festivities. While we were gone they rearranged all my junk in the basement. Now it is all usable. I'm so extactic!

I like running in falling snow too, but it can be challenging.

So did you just buy the elliptical?

That was nice of your parents to arrange your basement for you. I need someone to come do something about my basement.

Yes we just picked it up yesterday.

Of course when we got home I read reviews about it (we were just out in about and I thought I would look at the ellipticals just to see). The reviews are definitely mixed.

there is a part that was too short so we have to wait for that to come in.

And guess what? There will be an ice storm tonight so we shall see if I will be able to run tomorrow!

Yes my parents can be quite helpful when they want to be!

I've always thought I would do better on an elliptical than the TM. It just seems so fluid, and it would be different enough from running that my mind might not get so frustrated about not going anywhere.

That was my thought too!

Good luck getting the part! And luckily, while you guys are getting ice, we're just getting rain, I think.

Yeah lucky for you! I"m just glad I"m on break right now. Atleast now I have the chance of running later in the morning so that maybe it is warmer. It is definitely lighter out so atleast cars will definitely see me as they are sliding around on the roads. LOL

Running in fresh fallen snow and while calmy snowing is fun. I like it! I DO NOT like running in ice or horizontal snowing.

SO NICE of your parents to fix up your basement. Mine is a disaster.

I want an elliptical too. Just haven't taken the time to shop for one. I need to find one that fit my petite frame!

Hope you beat the ice storm tomorrow! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Smooth--funny b/c I wanted to make sure that the stride was long enough for my legs! LOL

Merry Christmas to all!
