7:00am--slept in....soo hard to wake up! any who I did intervals. 30 seconds of speed for a 1/2 mile of slowness. I warmed up for the first mile and cool down for the last 1/2 mile...all in all fairly good run.

I decided what to do for my once a year-things I have never done. I bought these 3 or 4 inch heals for a wedding I am going to in September (it is actually on my birthday). I am going to walk in those all night long with out falling over head first into something. LOL This is a challenge b/c I have a size 10 shoe and i'm already 5'8". This should be fun. Oh and the most fun is that I tower over my boyfriend who is 5'10" LOL

Gotta love being tall! I'm going to a wedding this Sat. and thinking about massive heels too, but I'm bringing extra shoes in case I can't dance like crazy!

Sounds like a good run--keep working in those fast intervals!

OUch! It makes my feet hurt to think about heels like that! You will look lovely, though. Be interesting to see if it affects your run the next day - lol!

Nice work on the intervals!

During the time of the wedding will be 2 weeks post 1/2 marathon soooo I'm not sure how much running I will be doing. and now that you mention it I may just run that Saturday morning and then not run on Sunday (sat is usually a day off).

bringing extra shoes is a good idea.

I hope my intervals are helping!

I think intervals are good.

Be careful with those heels. It sounds a little scary to me. I like flat shoes best.
