6am 65 degrees

15 minutes of weights and crunches. My back has been sore lately...I hope it is b/c of myweights and not b/c I'm running funny with the dog. I know it has changed my form a little.

I took the yellow dog again. This time on a usual route with no sidewalks. that would pretty horrible. He got spooked from what I"m not sure, twice and ran behind me and into the street. Then for whatever reason the chickens that are usually in the side yard were in the front yard and he wanted to eat some. There were bunnies and birds that he wanted to chase after. I may just stick to running with him on the bike path when I don't have to go to school (no time to drive there before school days)

still on the hunt for new shoes--the asics are great but they are a little to cushy. I think they would be better for walking or just kicking around. Looking for ST3's in my size and still haven't found them...I think there is an ST4...

happy running!

It sounds like you've got an energetic dog there.

I hope your back gets feeling better and that it's soreness from workouts, not injury.

Silly dog! Aren't you supposed to just step in as the pack leader and tell him what's what?

Sorry about your back. It really could be the weights; make sure that whatever you are doing your back is supported and you are not using your lower back to lift! Use your legs instead.

Aunt-yes in theory that is how it is suppose to work. The brown dog I raised since she was 11 months and she is near perfect (ie listens) but has hip dysplasia, and the yellow dog I just become owner of a few months ago. LONG story that involves divorce and ex-wife not wanting the dog anymore. So I dunno maybe I project bad feelings at him. Supposedly he was a good dog and would sit stay, paw, blah blah blah a few years ago. But I have a feeling that he was always bad on the leash b/c the husky is horrible on the leash (better now that I walk her) but I don't think the dogs were walked. I think it is a good mental exercise for dogs.

If it were me and the brown dog running she would run behind me if something was in her way. the gold dog jets out in front and sometimes into the street. B/f thinks this is cute and funny (he walks the dogs with me once a month and lets them go amok) Any who...so you can sort of see what I am working with her!

It is my upper back that is sore--between the shoulder blades. I'm pretty sure it is the weights...it doesn't feel that hard when I'm doing it! Oh well!
