I got to wear my Mizuno Breath Thermo...it was a little hot towards the end so I thought maybe it warmed up a lot more...but by the end of my run it was only 36. No biggy.

In other news I'm very angry with my math methods teacher. I made a lesson that combined math and social studies. The social studies teacher said we did excellent andmy grade shows that. the math teacher had a few things to say but didn't watch the entire lesson. He said I need  to bend down and talk to the kids more. I told him not all questions need that face to face time. Some questions are a simple yes or no...or good job. They don't need me to bend over and say yes....First off I think that is creepy. The teacher for the class is having a bad year and it shows in her classroom management. well he marked us low for CM. Which makes no sense because they were having a good day that day. There were a few chatty cathys but nothing like what our first lesson was like. And we warned him and he said "Not to worry, you can only do so much while yu are here."(2-2 hour days)

I need a 95 in the lab portion. I'm not meeting that standard with him. In my science and social studies methods I am. How can two people see the same lesson but come up with different grades? Ridiculous!

End rant

Nice splits.

I often wonder who two people can see or her the same thing and yet perceive it so differently.

Thanks for reading...It was an emotional morning. I'm feeling better now. Found out there are two different grades. One is the performance and one is the write up of the lesson. I'm doing fine...It is just he last semester and I feel soooo close yet so far. Sigh...I wish I would have ran after I got the news! MIght have helped to calm my nerves....b/c instead I broke my streak and am now drinking a mountain dew...oh well

Sounds like a well deserved dew!

Maybe the real training is learning to deal with unreasonable bureaucrats. Hang in there.

April, you are going to be a stupendous teacher! The world needs more like you. Just remember that your goal is to finish and be a stupendous teacher, not to please all the bureaucrats. Almost there!

Thank you all that really helps. I had a big scary cry...We went to a friends house. So that helped too!
