good run...garmin is dead. Well froze--it still says the date and time from yesterday...so I suppose I will have to figure that out tonight. I tried to hit the reset button and nothing happens. It won't even light up...Figures I had a horrible day yesterday-I just hope it doesn't spill into today!

It should eventually turn back on. When it does you might need to erase all of the previous runs. Seem like if you get to much information on then they crash for a bit.? Good job on getting out.

I know on my GARMIN it occassionally seems "dead" but I hold down the mode and lap/reset buttons together for 5-10 seconds and then hit power again and it reboots. Also I second what Tyler suggested. On my last bike ride and run it kept saying "Delete runs now. Memory almost full" haha. Hope it works! What type of teacher are you going to be? I'm almost done with my MS in Adolescent Ed Social Studies.

I have my garmin set up so that it automatically deletes the data from the watch once it is successfully transferred to the computer (which is every day, mostly). This keeps it from getting full.

I've used the same reset procedure that The Howling Commando described whenever my Garmin has been frozen.

Overload should not be the problem. I download every run and then it is automatically erased.

Howling Commando-I held the two buttons but I'm not sure what is meant by then hit the power button? Nothing happened when I held the buttons...I think I have a project for when I get home tonight!
