PR my 5k time. But maybe for now I should shoot for under 30 minutes.

I felt like a turtle. i just couldn't get speed today. Could it be that I woke up at 5:45 and left my house by 6:45 and didn't get home till 11:30 pm? Hmmm or the lack of sleep? probably not going to expect much from myself after a day like yesterday.

Monday night football=busy bar.

Yesterday I got to meet my 1st grade class that I will be working with this semester. I'm pretty excited. The teacher is pretty uptight. Not judging just thought it was interesting. I have two other teacher students in there with me and we all wondered if she chilled if the children would chill as well. I do like that she signs to the students. I took a class about 9 years ago so a lot is coming back.

Oh and today I get to go read or something to my friends 1st grade class!

Hi April, It must just be that type of day. At least you have an excuse from a fun night last night... Nice to see more Midwesterners on the blog. I grew up only about an hour from you (Oak Lawn) and spent many a summer weekend at the dunes...

How fun to meet your class! Does seem a bit strange to have an uptight teacher for those poor first graders. Maybe you can relax things a bit.

Adam--I know where that is! I live close to the dunes (closer than ever) and I don't get out there much...seems like a hassle. I know i"m weird!

Aunt and Carolyn-On Monday and Wednesday I'm with the uptight teacher. I tuesday I volunteered to help my friend with her first grader. I love being in her classroom. She is a prime example of what I have been taught all this time in my classes. I will learn a lot from her. I will also learn a lot from the uptight teacher--I do like some of the things she does.

Oh and I got a nap...so I'm feeling a little better. I have lots to do for homework...I should probably get on to that. Blogs are soooo distacting!
