5:51 am 32 degrees-I hate chocolate hammer gels...blech!

I have been hard on myself when it comes to candy and soda....when I should be praising myself for turning off the t.v. and going to sleep by 10 so I can wake up at 5:30 to go for a run. So that was what I was happy for for today.

Very slow run. 11:04 pace...okay so now that I see that I don't feel so bad--that is my easy pace. But the miles were all over the pace--fastest being 10 and slowest being 12...go figure...there were hills in there too...so glad to be on the couch!

Accel gel chocolate is good.

Believe what Snoqualmie said today: no slow is too slow.

The Power of Slow. I'm going to start my own cult. But we can only meet a couple of times a week because the other days we're so speedy, right?

Nice long run! And, great job getting up at 5:30. Especially since last night was Private Practice at 10pm. That's always hard for me.

Yo. Word up from Sno. No slow is too slow, as every runner knows. What matters is that you go. Running high and low, to and fro. Never say no. when it comes to running, you reap what you sow.

5:51am!!?? Way to go early riser! The only gel-type substance I can handle is Vanilla GU. Everything else riles up the gag reflex! Running and choking and spitting just don't go together :)

Thanks all for reminding me that I was up at 5:30...Now I know why I"m so tired...Why did I think it was a good idea to run 10 on a day where i have to work? Oh yeah b/c lately friday has been slooooowwww!....not tonight though..very happy.

Sno, JD, I need to hear that. I repeat it in my head that you are allowed to run slow on long runs...in fact I think i'm suppose to!

Thanks for the poem JD...if my brain were working I would continue it!

Aunt--I DVR EVERYTHING! That way I will go to sleep when I'm suppose to. If worse comes to worse I catch up with my shows on Saturday. I did get to watch Private Practice this morning though!
