45 min on elliptical. I konked out early last night for a glorious 9 hours of sleep.

Wearing my Merrels all day today. My foot still feels like poopy. People keep talking about orthodics to me and I'm just not gonna do that. Or inserts. I'm trying to go the barefoot route or atleast just regular shoes. Don't believe in them! The doc better have a better 'plan' for me.

Btw this is day 6 of no glutin and no soda. Yesterday I had chocolate and some gummy bears. But I also didn't exercise. So I guess I have to exercise every day to keep those cravings at bay.

Sorry about the poopy foot :(

I agree with you on the Orthotics. Good luck. I might have to be getting me a pair of those Merrel Gloves, they look pretty slick - and zero drop!

I wore my Merrells all day at work. My calves are def sorry. I want some black ones for work. I think I need a size bigger in order to wear socks. The back kinda rubs on the achilles.

Zero drop?

Most running shoes are built with the heel thicker than the toe, often 10mm, or 12mm etc difference. Zero drop means that there is no difference from heel to toe. It makes for a more natural feel, and is probably better for accommodating proper running form = less injuries once you get used to running properly.

That makes sense with all that cushion. I hope that by walking around in them I'm getting my feet acclimated so when it is running time again I can just run!
