2:45 pm run 60 degrees ran with yellow dog

1. Got attacked by black dog again, i hate that dog
2. my dog kept pulling on the leash which hurts my arm-so I tied it around my waist....he is the reason I had threshold miles today--he kept pulling me
3. I had a headache and side stiches and was in a bad mood
4. glad I went out anyway. I still have a headache but I feel mentally better
5. yellow dog likes to chase after little brown flying cricket things...not so cool

last two miles were 9 minute pace...average for the run was 9:48

:) You know they make a lead for dogs that you can clip onto your waist? I don't know exactly how it works because I've never run with one, but one of my XC parents uses one all the time. He says it makes it easier to run because he doesn't have to hold onto anything.

I've never run with a dog but it sounds like it brings lots of challenges with it.

Also, I've seen people with those waist leash thingies.

It's cool that you got some threshold miles in, too bad that you weren't feel great, but good that the run made you feel a little better. So it was a mixed bag, I guess.

I find that 98.37% of the time, a run makes me feel better.

Get some pepper spray if a dog is attacking your dog! I buy mine at the local running store.

Good run-a-la-canines.

Sno--my aim isn't super..I would be afraid I would hurt my dog too!

Tracy--yes I plan to get one...I just either keep forgetting or keep forgetting LOL
