Verrrry icy out. I almost fell like 5 times during my .5 walk with the dogs in the morning. And it was warm (30ish)

So I thought it might be better in the afternoon. Nope my car slide on the road. So I stayed in

I did Jillians Kickboxing and 1/2 of 30 day shred level 2 (Just pooped!)

1:10 plank (i think i'm regressing rather than progressing...bummer) I did tilt my tail bone in. I think that helped as far as form. I think I was subconsciously bowing my back thus causing some strain. YUCK.

Okay so new CANDY ATTACH PLAN. Since I can't full out say no. I am allowing myself 1-2 candy/sweets servings per day (today I went way over with 1 100grand bar (a mini one)--and 2 or 3 rice krispy treats while tutoring)

And if I go two weeks straight like this then I will buy myself a massage. I really need it. So I'm hoping that giving myself a little treat to look forward to will keep me going strong.

nice plan. baby steps. baby candy bars. baby back ribs.

really though, great goals with a nice reward for yourself at the end. you got it!

as for the plank: it also hurts my lower back when i start getting tired and lose form. i agree that it's YUCK, but it's also so good :)

Ice is no match for screw shoes :)

Good luck with the candy plan. I binge on candy like crazy and it is always around where I work. I need to quit too.

Great idea, I should reward myself with a massage too! I have been (mostly) really good about candy since Jan 1st, it is my major major major weakness. Hot chocolate or hot cider (sugar free for both, 15 cals for cider, 50 for chocolate) are my tricks - they make me feel like I'm getting "dessert".

nicole-does it taste all diety?

Glad the tailbone adjustment helped! It will probably make the planks harder for awhile, hence less time but it's all good!

I know I've seen screw shoes before. Do you use them Rattletrap?

We're getting that ice now, so I feel for you. It took me a while to get to work today because of it.

Good luck with the candy. I find it hard to do the limiting thing. If I see it, I eat it all. I think it goes back to the fact that when I was growing up, if my mom bought any kind of treat, if you didn't gorge yourself that day, you weren't getting any. And she wasn't buying anything more for at least 2 more weeks.

Tracy - Screw shoes rock! I've only ran in them once since we don't get much snow or ice here, but they worked great! I wish it would snow again so I could use them more.

Tracy-I think I was raised the same way. If you dind't get the candy NOW my dad or my bro would eat it. sucked. I"m trying to change my mind. I'm hoping the massage helps
