I went to customer appreciation last night and got a new pair of shoes on sale. When I got home I realized they were my same riders only a different color! yah!

So funny thing about the education of America. Last night I asked for a pair of on sale shoes. The lady came out with the box and I asked how much are they. She takes a deep breath and says they were 100 but are now 30% off. I can't do that math.

I sighed and said they are 70 bucks. Who can't take a percentage off of 100? omg! Is it the math teacher in me or is this pretty basic math? end rant

ha! One time I had a substitute teacher and when I was going over the math lesson with her she said: "I usually don't teach as high as 3rd grade because I can't do the math." WHAT?! Even if that's true - don't say it out loud!!

It is all sad!!!! I mean I could understand a weird number...but 100 is what percentages are based on!
