No more trouble zones and 1.25 walk with the dogs.

Should I be counting my videos as xtraining miles? or just leave it be?

afternoon--walked doggies same 1.25 mile route...still trying to figure out why, when I got home the garage door was open and so was my front door. Little scary...cuz i know I closed the garage door. I had to type in the code manually and we never use the house door. perplexed is my state of mind right now.

I think you should count whatever you consider training. I count whatever is written on my training plan, and my trainer puts bike rides in there because he is secretly trying to turn me into a multi sport uber old lady athlete. I don't count swimming yet, because I just sort of flop around in the pool, but when I am really swimming I will count it. I do not put biking to the grocery store and all the commuting biking and I do not count yoga.

That's creepy about the doors!? If you're tracking "crosstraining" miles then of course you should count those video workouts. I think it messes things up when bloggers count other things as "running" miles, but that's just my opinion :)

For my own purposes I just log the miles I run here on FRB. I keep a paper journal at home where I log other activities (which I tend to keep at a minimum so as to save my feeble strength for running. I admire those who can perform at a variety of "muscle powered" sports.

I could really use "floppy miles" as a category for my daily runs.

I guess it is b/c I look at my numbers and I have 5 for this week...but I have been working out...just cross training...so I guess it is more to make myself feel better than anything.

JD--I just started a paper journal this week ...well it is a calendar so I can see all my workouts for the month at once. Me likey so far.

I"m not gonna count walking my dogs...that is just a relaxing thing. I guess it would be more like Aunts Yoga...relaxing but still makes you work (I don't walk super slow but I'm not powerwalking either)
