5:00am run 11 degrees with the windchill

I got new shoes. I had to try them out. I bought two of the riders. So HOpefully I won't have to buy new shoes for the next 6-12 months. I still have some gas left on the precisions I think and the ST3. So these may go back in the box till I really need them. We'll see. I"m not really good about deciding if I like a shoe. these didn't hurt my feet so I guess I will keep them.

Still having some IT band yuckness. I walked some and stretched.

Gotta love new shoes! Just keep plugging away. The stopping to stretch should help your running. Have you been anywhere to see someone about your ITB?

Your early start to the day makes me feel older...oh wait, I am older. I'm older than dirt! Lol! Really though, great job getting out so early, especially considering the 11F windchill. I haven't bought a new pair of shoes in over 6 months. I've been rotating through the same 7 pair since August. Trying to pile miles on them and then just buy minimal support shoes from here on out. I like my mizuno waveriders, they still have a lot of life in them.

Tracy-I don't have insurance...I could go to the VA but it seems they got rid of their late hours...whichmeans I can't go.

Aunt-me too!

JD--you should not feel old! Rotating that many shoes sounds difficult. And I think I also maybe having issues b/c I think I jumped on the minimalist bandwagon too quickly...LOL

You continue to own the early mornings. Good luck with the new shoes and the ITB.

At my old school I did...but that was UIC and they have their own medical thingy and teenie boppers go there and they have dorms.

The U I'm at now the mean age is 35 and I suppose they think you probably have all that taken care of...soooo...yeah my new job can not come soon enough. And at the restaurant I couldn't get insuarance b/c I didn't work enough hours to cover the 100 bucks a month to have it (which is hard to do at 2.13 and hour)sorry rambling...
