I did some of the Jillian Michaels DVD Kickboxing about 30 minutes. I skipped the cool down. And then did another 20 of yoga. This one is really tough. I looked at the description again and it is for intermediate. I'm like Yeah I probably could have finished it no problem a few years ago. So I"m on the hunt for another video on demand. I found one that is for runners. But I find the lady annoying and the beginners ones are lame!

Last night I FINALLY got a foam roller. I have to say it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would . I even rolled on my back and my quads. my IT band rolling hurt just as much on my right side as it did on the left. So either they both are messed up or I"m catching them in time? I dunno...b/c it really did not hurt (a girl at work said i would cry). I only did a few minutes, maybe that is why?

I was hoping for a snow day to catch up on school work. NO such luck. My university is closed...but not the elementary school. Figures!

I have a foam roller but I don't use it as much as I should. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it doesn't - depends where I roll and how much body weight I put on it, but it has never made me cry.

Sorry you didn't get a snow day. My husband always hopes for snow days but rarely gets them.

Good for you, getting the roller at last! It does usually hurt me if my IT bands are tight. I have never cried while using it, but I don't cry except for when my neck gets adjusted.

Okay hopefully I'm doing it right.

This is day three of no running. I think I may run tommorrow...maybe I will wait one more day.

What Yoga did you do? Just curious. And anything Jillian Michaels scares me.

Kelli-I would love it if Jillian would wake me up in the morning and run with me. it would be awesome! I wonder if I would get faster?

Yoga wise I'm doing stuff that I find on demand on my AT&T U-verse. The one I keep going back to is Yoga-Sculpt. I haven't found DVDs that I like so that is what I have found for free!

I'm actually looking into going on ITUNES and seeing if they have something on there. Just have been lazy. My brother is taking me to one of his heat yoga classes. 90 minutes of a lot of heat and yoga. Sounds wonderful to me!

Jillian HATES running, she rarely does it (or so she says!)

I'm afraid of all this kick boxing.

NICE kickboxing and yoga!

The first time I used the foam roller, I cried. It hurt bad. Then it got easier and hurt less. I'm glad your quads and ITB didn't get to that point. Keep up the good work!
