Okay I think 8 is my max for the morning. I'm going to have to start splitting my runs during the week. Will that still be okay for my training?

Thinking about doing the Run to Wrigley 5k in April.

I also struggle to do more than 8 in the morning, though I do it sometimes.

I think breaking up your weekday runs is okay as long as you get a continuous long run done on the weekends.

Tell me about the Run to WRigley!! That's my old neighborhood; might be worth a quick flight to Chicago.

Do tell about the run. When is it? I'll do it if I can arrange to be at home!

It's so hard to run a significant amount of miles in the morning. 6 is my max. That's why I run later! But it's good that you can get in 8!

Some of the best runners on the blog run two a day. You still get the volume for the week. I agree that at least one longer continuous run a week is important.

I would only have to split 1 maybe two runs a week. And that is only if for some reason I dn't run on Sunday and I have to move that run to during the week.

Run to Wrigley is a 5k, it is 35 bucks if you want to be times and 30 if you want it to be a fun run. You get a wicking shirt and it is April 24th.

It was tough for me to make the jump back to 10 miles in the mornings. I was doing 8's for a long time. I think I can thank Thaine for the extra incentive :)

WTF and the face that you are fast! My long runs are roughly around 10:30 to 11 minute miles on good days (which I have been having a lot of so I'm not complaining)

I like splitting my runs, I am feeling strong!!!
