Great race with my brother....pictures to follow. I felt super strong (I didn't really drink last night just probably ate too much barb-b-que...I love it!

The food spread after was awesome! I love small races (only about 300 people). My garmin had us at 2.92 miles...so I dunno...but my overal pace was a 9:32. Running with my bro was motivating b/c he is so much faster! (he slowed to let me catch up). I think i'm gonna start pushing myself harder.

Congratulations, April! Was that your first 5K? I am so glad you had fun! That's what we're doing here, right? :) Nice running!

Good job! That 9 minute pace is right around the corner. That's really cool that your brother ran with you.

Great job on your first 5K! I'm so glad that you had fun and that it has motivated you to push yourself a little harder. That's how we improve.

How do I post pictures here? Maybe I will just change my avatar.

Any who, Sno--yes my first and my knees felt really great...No swelling or touch tenderness when they do hurt though.

It felt so good to keep that pace...now if only I could do it for 13 miles!

To post pictures in your blog you need to upload them to flikr or smugmug or some other photo hosting site. Then you can link to them in your blog entries.

Posting pix - just like Rattletrap said, and just like we do in ravelry.com.

Awesome! It's great that you felt strong and ready to race! Just keep logging miles and your times will drop!

When's the next one?

Tracy--Well there are a couple 5ks...there is one in June that involves wearing a necktie for fathers day...and then there is one in July that allows you to run with your dogs....I'm thinking about the latter one. I'm trying to stay motivated to run the 1/2 in August in Madison. I'm trying to find a longer race but I'm not having much luck--lots of 5k's this summer!
