Took dogs for a walk.Yellow dog is really embarrassing me. He really likes to scare other dogs. The other two could really care less about other dogs. Can't we all just get along? I think he needs the Dog Whipherer!

You are nice to take him on a run even after he chewed your knitting!! Wishing I had some cooler weather! Nice run!

Oh no he just got a walk. If he didn't get that he would probably chew more stuff up!

Nice miles today! The weather has been perfect for running, especially early in the day!

My friend told me I should try walking him alone. So I'm gonna try that.It will take some extra time but if I can stop him from embarrassing me in the end I think it will be worth it!
Tracy--I love this weather!

I have a huge crush on Cesar. Sounds like yellow dog has some issues with sharing your attention (see I really love the dog whisperer).

I'm not even a dog person, but my MIL brought that dvd last time she visited and I loved it. Should be required-watching for all dog owners. I could use a cat whisperer myself.

I have his book. I used his techniques on my brown dog...and she is a peach! but she was my dog...the yellow dog is 6 or 7 and has only been my dog for a year. We went on a solo walk today and he did really well. tomorrow I will walk by the dog that he hates and see how that goes.

I definitely think it sounds like YD is a little jealous (and overprotective of you). But, dogs have a way of working through problems like this. It sounds like maybe you could walk him by himself and then slowly (every other day or something) add in walks with BD and see what happens. I love dogs ... seriously, they are both simple and complicated at the same time (unlike cats ... they are always complicated). Although I have been so lucky in my life to have had some truly best kitty friends (one of my kitties lived 26 years (only 19 with me).

Wow 26 years!
Well I have the Husky too..She also has improved on walks from Ceasar effect. LOL But I have been around her for 3 years of her 10 that she has been on Earth.
So YD tore up a Kleenex box yesterday while we were away. This is destruction just started. The not liking other dogs is getting progressively worse. So weird!

It's a dog eat box world out there.

Yellow dog is just like my small cat! Jealous of my attention! I do think he wants you all to himself. Knitting is something that takes your attention away from him too.
