6:15 am run 69 degrees...very nice. This run was progressive. I was atleast 30-60 seconds faster than I have been in the last week and that is just b/c it was cooler out.

1 mile walk with dogs

Shred level 2

My parents stayed with our dogs this weekend so we could go to a retirement party in Indy. When we got home we were surprised with presents. They called them July fourth presents but they were really wedding presents. (I said we didn't need presents)

My parents had their mothers' wedding rings made into a necklace for me and greg got a hand gun. Both of our mouths dropped when we got them. I won't wear the necklace till the wedding but I can totally see myself wearing it after that. Now that I have my IN license I think I can go get a gun card so we can go target shooting so that will be nice and fun!

What a fun surprise.

It's funny that 69 degrees is cool to you and 70 is hot to me, and you probably had more humidity than I did. I guess I'm just a pansy when it comes to heat.

What a great present(s)! The temperatures there sound perfect for running.

What kind of gun did he get? You could always pack that under your dress for something new :)

I am glad they did not mix-up the gift cards, though I am sure your mouths would had dropped if you had received the hand gun and Greg had received the necklace too ;)

Seriously, very sweet. I am glad YD is behaving himself!

and ... I know what you mean about the weather, it rained on Sunday and was probably 70F and I had goose-bumps!!

bonnie-I'm kinda jealous of his present. I want a gun! LOL actually I would prefer a shot gun b/c I love clay target practice!

Rat-he got a smith and wesson hand gun. I want to say it is a 9 mil or 45 but I can't remember right now.

I was very surpriesd about the necklace. I know it has been in the works for atleast a few years now. But I thought it was goign to be a ring. So that was a nice surprise. And my mom wanted to give it to me for my 30th (next year) but my dad thought this way was better. I agree!

Carolyn--forgot to respond to you--I wouldn't say it is cool. but it is much preferred over 85 or 90 that is for sure!
