5pm run 7 with the windchill. I almost sat this one out. Just wasn't feeling it. But then I told myself that I would be done by 6 and to just do it. I was going to do the elliptical or a video. But tomorrow there will be a snow storm so I"m sure there will be plenty of time to do those things.

I ran on flat terrain today. Knee still hurts. Took a hot bath and stretched.

I'm goign to look into that tape stuff.

I decided I love/hate night runs. I like them b/c once i'm done I can shower and get in my pjs. This makes stretching easier and more likely to happen (in the a.m. runs I would get into jeans after a shower and stretching seldom happened) I also like it b/c dinner is afterwards. And the dogs are already walked in the morning so I don't have to worry about that either.

I do not like that there are sooo many cars on my usual routes. I'm trying to think of new routes that are less conjested. But besides running in neighborhoods (which I"m not a fan of) I don't know where to go. It is just so dangerous.

I got to teach two lessons today. And participate in a meeting and yell at kids. LOL...I got to intro the students to the wonderful world of cursive! muah!

You were brave getting out there in the cold. Be careful with that traffic.

I often neglect stretching in the morning because I don't have time.

Kids don't seem to be learning cursive very well these days. And today my oldest son was bemoaning the fact that kids don't diagram sentences anymore and thus don't learn the parts of speech. They need to bring back Schoolhouse Rock, I think.

Yes, I like pm runs for the same reasons. I love coming right home and having something warm and getting right in to my PJs.

Way to go! Also, cursive is the WORST! I never taught my kids it (shhhh!) since i can't do it myself, I decided to teach them typing instead, it's more useful. :-) I'm a rebel.

Your words sum up pretty much how I felt yesterday too. Just a blah run, seems like. The next time you get outside it will be better.

How did the kids take to your lessons? Hopefully it went well.

I hate winter p.m. runs. I won't mind p.m. running once we go back to Daylight Savings.

Tracy--the kids seem to take me well enough. They listen to me. I just need to work on a little louder. Sometimes when I call them from across the room (usually to get their attention b/c they are messing up) they don't hear me. So I have to say it a second time. The cooperating teacher is louder than me.
